David Phillips, a fifth-generation wine grape grower from Lodi, CA, has deep roots in viticulture, having spent his childhood farming the very land that now nurtures the Michael David Winery. After graduating from U.C. Davis in 1987, David embarked on a world-wide exploration of renowned wine regions, including Europe, South Australia, and New Zealand. His diverse experiences, coupled with his work at an international cork company in San Francisco, enriched his expertise before returning to help his brother Michael run the family business. Today, David and his wife Corene serve as global ambassadors for Michael David Winery, passionately sharing their wines with the world.
